DAEL Telecom UK helps increasing mobile capacity at Royal Ascot

ASCOT - As Britain’s most valuable race meeting, attracting many of the world’s finest racehorses to compete for millions of pounds in prize money, Royal Ascot is anticipated and revered the world over. Commissioned by #Vodafone, DAEL Telecom UK deployed a special events trailer, providing (additional) connectivity to this event.
DAEL Telecom UK uses temporary telecommunication masts to locally prepare the mobile network so that the quality of mobile services can be ensured and the flow of mobile traffic can be monitored and processed. At an event as big as Royal Ascot, which is broadcasted to over 200 countries with audiences in the many millions, reliable mobile capacity is of great importance. DAEL Telecom UK deployed 2 masts to increase the connectivity during this five day event.
DAEL Telecom UK has been commissioned by Vodafone to place several masts at major events during this festival season. These mobile telecom solutions can be transported easily and can be setup and broken down within a short period of time and thus are ideal for deployment at concerts, sporting events, fairs, and demonstrations. Whether planned or unplanned, events where large crowds of people gather present challenges to not only connectivity but most of all the safety of the public
About Royal Ascot
The Ascot Racecourse is a British racecourse, located in Ascot, Berkshire, England, which is used for thoroughbred horse racing. The Royal Ascot is the centrepiece of Ascot's year and every year this event is attended by Elizabeth II and other members of the British Royal Family such as The Prince of Wales, arriving each day in a horse-drawn carriage with the Royal procession taking place at the start of each race day and the raising of the Royal Standard and the playing of the National Anthem. It is considered one of the biggest events in the British social calendar.
